Chocolate Legos?

A recent study indicated that 89% of chocolate buyers purchase it as a reward or treat, and 87% consider it as a regular snack, whereas 83% of them take into consideration the size of chocolate candy packages to know the best bang for the buck, and 72% opt for chocolate to enhance their mood or to get an energy kick.

The giants in the chocolate industry know the significance of consumer concerns. No wonder miniature versions of chocolate bars came surfacing to help generate sales within the growing snacking sector.

Snacking in-between meals slowly became commonplace as a basic way to stay filled all throughout the day, and these bite-sized portions help satisfy every chocolate craving. The small portions pave the way for calorie control, too. People who think an entire chocolate bar is too much rave about it.

Innovations in terms of chocolate just keep getting more interesting and more interesting. Get a load of these! These LEGO-like pieces by designer-artist Akihiro Mizuuchi are made of chocolate, shaped from specially designed molds.

Lego refers to a popular line of construction toys manufactured by The Lego Group, a privately held company based in Billund, Denmark.

Their flagship product, Lego, is made out of colorful interlocking plastic bricks with gears, mini figures and other different parts. You can assemble and connect the bricks in a plethora of ways, to build objects like vehicles, buildings, and robots, just to name a few ideas.

The main concept is to construct something and then take the bricks apart afterwards to come up with other objects. But the chocolate LEGO deviates from the normal ones a little bit.

Initially, chocolate is poured into accurately designed molds that after cooling can be popped out and utilized as typical LEGOs. You can go over to the Behance gallery page and see some more ridiculously entertaining photos of chocolates in different colors and brick configurations and the creations made by interlocking the edible bricks.

There may have been relentless attempts at making different forms of LEGO in chocolate or other food. However, this turned out to be the most detailed and well-designed among them all. Don’t they just look too good to even lay your hands on?

If they're actually right in front of me, I'd spend hours on end just gawking at them. I'd devour them, yes, but I'd marvel at them like the majestic creatures that they are.
