Every year, we celebrate several different holidays. Some are simultaneously recognized all over the world while others are exclusive to their respective cities, states or countries. Often, these festivities are dedicated to popular personalities who have made an impact in the society.
However, the most delightful holidays of all celebrate in the name of food. Who would not want that. I know I would. It is something pretty sweet, enjoyed by people of all ages, in all walks of life and in all parts of the world... It is ice cream.
Sunday, July 15, 2012, is National Ice Cream Day. How awesome is that?
Making this day cooler than it already is, is the fact that MARS Chocolate North America is collaborating with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation in order to conduct fun activities for consumers.
MARS Chocolate North America is the company that manufactures the most popular and well loved products such as M&M’S, Snickers, Milky Way, Twix, Skittles and Dove. I will have to bow down to the great minds behind these wonderful treats that I grew up eating. Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is a group of company that runs amusement parks. And you know how the kids ,and kids at heart, enjoy and shout while on those rides.
The plan is to conduct activities along with special offers and freebies for the visitors of selected Six Flags parks all over the country such as Rise and Scream Event, Mars Ice Cream Social Hour and "Adults Only" Dove Ice Cream Truck.
For the Rise and Scream Event, the first 200 guests to arrive will get the chance to have a wristband which allows VIP access to selected rides. The Mars Ice Cream Social Hour on the other hand will let you cool down by receiving a Midway Game Voucher after purchasing any MARS Ice Cream product. While the "Adults Only" Dove Ice Cream Truck will travel across the country where people can get free products plus an added bonus of massage, manicures and music. It only goes to show that if you cannot come to the party, the party will come to you.
With the exclusive partnership of the two, consumers are in for a great treat during the National Ice Cream Day celebration. I mean ice cream and theme parks, this could not get any better. Make sure you’re there because this only happens once a year. Don’t miss the chance to scream for ice cream, literally.
