Wild Ophelia Barbeque Potato Chip Chocolate Bar

I must say, there are some interesting flavored chocolate bars out there (I’m referring to what’s added to the chocolate, not the natural occurring terroir). And by “Interesting” I mean, raise an eyebrow and ask yourself, “who would think of such a thing?”

The temptation of chocolate-covered anything is indeed hard to resist. And almost anything can be covered in chocolate nowadays so people keep finding out more and more attention-grabbing and out of the ordinary combinations of chocolates and certain food.

I even heard someone jokingly saying, and I am paraphrasing, “I will eat anything covered in chocolate. You can cover a tennis shoe in chocolate and I’d still eat it.” Yes, you read right. Chocolate can certainly get the best out of us sometimes! Haha

Carol Widman’s “Chippers”

OMG!  Home of the Famous Chocolate covered Potato Chip, “Chippers”.  That’s what Carol Widman’s Candy Company proudly boasts.  And I completely agree!

Carol Widman’s Candy Company is located in Fargo, North Dakota.  They’ve been making quality chocolates for four generations.  I’m not sure when they started making chocolate covered potato chips, but they have perfected them.  They come covered in milk chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, peanut butter, and white almond. 

It really doesn’t matter which coating you choose, so pick your favorite.  No matter what, the Chippers are down right addicting.
