Theo Chocolate Is Expanding

Theo Chocolate is a prominent organic chocolate manufacturer based in the Fremont area of Seattle.  They have recently been able to raise some funds in order to upgrade their equipment and expand factories.  This is in an effort to increase production to cope up with the ever increasing demands from loyal clients and customers.

Theo boasts chocolates that are dubbed "amazing, delicious, mind-bendingly wonderful." But it transcends more than just chocolate to include multitudes of people, lands, dedication, as well as the interrelated relationships.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has openly stated that Theo Chocolate has so far been able to gather up to $500,000 out of its $2 million targeted amount.

The founder and CEO of Theo Chocolate, Joe Whinney, has stated that they offered a debt facility to their existing shareholders. This move provided an opportunity for stockholders to be able to loan the company money without the option of buying more equity.

The particular expansion has been in accordance with the growth pattern of Theo which started way back in 2006 when the first organic chocolate was created. The products of Theo Chocolate are now being sold in all 50 states as well as Canada.

The manpower of the company has grown by a factor of almost 100% in recent years. The sales also have grown by a total of 50% and the company has been producing more than a million pounds of chocolate each year, according to their CEO.

Whinney added that the chocolate industry has been dominated by a small number of corporations that are massive in size. But Theo Chocolate has been aiming to change people’s viewpoint about chocolate by offering an alternative to mainstream chocolate.

Theo Chocolates are Fair Trade Certified, having been sustained by cocoa beans that are grown organically. The CEO has spent more than a decade trying to connect and have a symbiotic relationship with the many farmers of Central America as well as that of Africa before they even tried marketing their own products.

However you look at it, this is pure good news! More chocolate for those who swear by this chocolate maker.
