All Hail Mighty Cheesecake

Cheesecake, oh I just swallowed my saliva right there. You are the ultimate culprit behind the smiles painted on our faces--especially on mine, most of the time. I swear by this cake, and I crave it even when I have it in my mouth.

Cheesecake is perfect with coffee in the morning, with an orange juice for lunch, and hot milk before going to bed. But if you cannot get enough of it like yours truly, you can still sneak in a few bites during snack time.

Cheesecake also has that magical taste that comforts longing hearts and tired bodies. Seriously, I may sound animated and overboard, but I dare you to try one for yourself and I would sashay away saying I told you so.

The ingredients we have to be thankful for are eggs and cream cheese. But what makes a cheesecake yummier is the fact that they use no ordinary flour as the main ingredient. Because of this, the custards are more emphasized and the flavors just explode into your mouth. It is like a bomb worth dying for.

To make things more intense, it requires you to invest more patience. One secret tip into making a cheesecake more delectable is you place it inside the fridge overnight. It lets the flavor set giving it more umph. With that assurance, who can say no, right?

The life of the cheesecake party is cream cheese. Aside from flavor, it also has a lot of history in it. It dates back up to the time of Renaissance when Marco Polo roamed the Earth and wrote that the Mongols created a tangy and rich cheese by allowing skimmed milk to dry under the sun. Yes, even milk can do sunbathing.

Cheesecake was also mentioned during the Grecian Olympic Games. And we have Cato the Elder to thank for introducing cheesecake to the world.

From then until now, cheesecakes have not faded. Since we love cheesecake so much, we keep on adding stuff to make it more irresistible, mixing in liquor for an added twist, topping with strawberry and the popular graham biscuits. But the best of all the best is teaming it up with chocolate.

Nothing is better that doubling the fun by pairing cheesecake and chocolate together. Now I can say that life is awesome. Just a hint, you can scroll down and look at the right side of this blog for the search field.  Then search for cheesecake to find several excellent recipes.
