Chocolate Banana Peanut Cookies Recipe

To this day, one of my favorite breakfasts is toast slathered with peanut butter and topped with banana slices. It's a perfect little meal or snack, and the flavors combine perfectly.
The ingredients in these cookies - the banana, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and peanuts - also combine perfectly. If you ask me, they're an excellent choice for sack lunches, because they're sweet, savory and will fill you up. And they're so easy, you could whip them up on a school night!

Cadbury Crème eggs are a sign of Easter and, to me, a sign that Spring is on its way. I welcome the sight of them lining the grocery store walls along with fluffy bunnies and pastel Easter baskets.
Filled eggs were first manufactured by the Cadbury Brothers back in 1923, and the creme eggs we know and love today were introduced as Fry's Crème Eggs in 1963, becoming Cadbury's Crème Eggs in 1971.

The almond seed that we know today has been cultivated over many thousands of years. The first of the almond species were toxic, and produced deadly cyanide upon mechanical handling. Thank goodness our forefathers bred that out of the tasty seeds we enjoy today!
This recipe is a mixture of two of my favorite things - chocolate and almonds. Although I never thought I'd eat another chocolate pie after watching The Help, I think it's safe if you're the one doing the baking!
