Burlington Chocolate Fest

The Burlington Chocolate Festival takes place Memorial Day weekend each year at the Chocolate Festival Grounds in Burlington, Wisconsin.

Chocolate Fest is a family-oriented community festival with something for everyone. But it's not just a big party. All money generated from the event goes back to a wide variety of community charities and civic groups. For over 25 years, this volunteer-run festival has raised money for over 65 local and national charities.

Typically, more than 35,000 people attend the annual festival, dedicated to the celebration of all things chocolate. Attendees experience a weekend of fun, games, rides, cooking demonstrations, and chocolate.

If you crave chocolate, Chocolate Fest is for you!  The Chocolate Experience Tent provides fun chocolate related activities such as Chocolate Eating Contests, Man Vs. Chocolate, the Choc-O-Lympics, and Chef Demonstrations.

Meanwhile, in other parts of the festival grounds you'll find walk-around entertainers, musicians, a hypnotist, puppet shows, and more!  Tonight at 9:00 p.m. there are fireworks for all to enjoy.

Last weekend, in the run up to the festival, six staff and friends of Chocolate University Online participated in the Chocolate City Bike Ride sponsored by the Burlington Kiwanis.  In this photo you can see the back side of our ride shirts.  Not only did we eat our homework, but we had chocolate at each of the ride's rest stops!

The 2012 chocolate festival begins today, May 25 and run through Monday, May 28.  Visit the website for more information about the Burlington Chocolate Fest.
