Homemade Frozen Chocolate Banana Bites Recipe

What you need:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa or higher)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, helps smooth the chocolate)
  • Toppings (optional): crushed nuts, sprinkles, or shredded coconut

What to do:

1. Slice the bananas. Cut the bananas into small, even pieces, about 1 inch thick.

2. Freeze first. Place the slices on a tray lined with parchment paper. Freeze them for about 1–2 hours until firm.

3. Melt the chocolate. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring each time. Add coconut oil if you want a smoother texture.

4. Dip and decorate. Take the frozen banana slices and dip each one into the melted chocolate. Add toppings right away before the chocolate hardens.

5. Freeze again. Put the coated bites back on the tray and freeze for another 30 minutes.
