Endangered Species Cacao Nibs + Dark Chocolate Review

Greetings from my “safer-at-home” office! I’m still here, quickly eating through my stash of chocolates. My previous bar, Mr. Dot Bar, did not satisfy me in the least so I made sure I grabbed a familiar, never fails to please, chocolate bar brand – Endangered Species.
This time I have one that I haven’t tried before, Endangered Species Cacao Nibs + Dark Chocolate. It’s nicely bold with 72% cacao. The addition of nibs adds a perfect crunch to an otherwise smooth texture. It melts in your mouth slowly and evenly, releasing great chocolatey flavor with hints of earth and spice and nutty notes at the end. Love it!
As you may know, Endangered Species Chocolate donates ten percent of net profits to save our wildlife. Each bar features an animal that receives monetary help from ESC’s commitment. On the inside of the wrapper there’s detailed information about the featured animal.
Cacao Nibs + Dark Chocolate highlights the Marianas Flying Fox bat. I have a fondness for bats. Bats make me think of caves, and I love spelunking. Some of my best memories of family vacations revolved around visiting caves. Yes, bats included. I think I’ve been to Mammoth Cave the most. It’s not the prettiest cave, but it offers long hikes by lantern light that send you back in time.
For most of us, vacations are on hold as we live through the closures of COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, thank you Endangered Species chocolate company, for giving me a chance to slow down, reminisce, and enjoy delicious chocolate all at once. We should all take a "time out" to sit with our fond memories and nibble some fine chocolate.
