Divine – Dark Chocolate with Mint Crisp

The Dark Chocolate with Mint Crisp is 70% Ghanaian chocolate with natural peppermint oil and peppermint crisps.
The aroma is intensely minty, sweet, and refreshing. There are bits of mint “crisps” embedded in the chocolate, and this provides a nice texture with the smooth chocolate melting in your mouth. At the same time, you have the crunch of the peppermint bits. The chocolate actually comes through nicely in the middle and at the end. The peppermint does not overwhelm it. The chocolate is earthy, with a pleasant chocolatey aftertaste.
I’ve reviewed some pretty delicious Divine flavors over the years: Seriously Smooth Milk Chocolate, 70% Dark Chocolate with Ginger and Orange, Milk Chocolate with Toffee and Sea Salt, Milk Chocolate with Hazelnuts, and 70% Dark Chocolate with Raspberries. And their 70% Mint Dark is no less delicious.
If you are a mint and dark chocolate lover like me, you will really enjoy this too. Next on my list of Divine bars to try is their line of organic 85% dark chocolates. Since there is no way I could ever pick a favorite out of this bunch, I’m just going to accept the fact that I’ll be tasting a winner every time.
